I noticed this photo in my latest People Magazine and fell in love with it. It’s an advertisement for Kodak with the caption “printing made honest”.

I love it.

I’m so used to seeing beautiful children (probably airbrushed like everyone else in magazines). This picture could easily be my little butter bean…melting popsicle and all.

Hi, I am a mom who feels like she is always on the go. I’m new to WordPress so bare with me while I find my way around. I hope to entertain you (somewhat any way) with my life as a mom, wife and homemaker.Homemaker…why do I dislike that word so much. It sounds so “1950′s” doesn’t it? Yet, that is what I am…for now any way. Maybe when the kids are both in school I can start looking at re-entering the working world that includes a paycheck.I have two children. A son I will call “Little Dude” and a daughter “Butter Bean”. I should also mention my husband that works too many hours and goes on too many business trips. Let’s call him “Big Daddy”. My life right now revolves around these 3 people…not that I want to sound like I’m complaining. I’m a lucky mom and I love my family with all my heart. How ever I have moments where I wish I could sometimes just be “me” again. Maybe have a weekend to myself where I wasn’t responsible for meal making, face washing, clothes washing…

It’s the mundane chores that come with “Homemaker” I’m not into. I really wish I liked to make new and exotic meals for my family. I wish I could take pride in my semi clean home and enjoyed re-organizing the toy room. Think like that. Yet I just…don’t.

So… although I’m new to the blog world and I don’t know when any one will find me I would like to post this question to all the moms out there.Do you enjoy your daily household chores? Explain.
